It would be nice if you could view ALL available puzzels and choose the one you want.

When you cant select the shape you want 400 seems excessive. I get no sense of progression. I even saw the same shape come up twice, are there even 400? Or do I need to keep hitting the new button and hope I get lucky. Moving shapes around often obscured other shapes. Tapping to rotate feels tedious. The grid is not a bad idea, but you need to be way too precise when placing your tans. The tan shapes I saw so far seem way too easy. Nearly all of the are obvious from the beginning, not much challenge.

Im not sure whats with the negative reviews. Its not OK to release a competing product? Strange. Anyway, I tried the other tangram games currently available on the iPhone and I liked Brians best. Some of my favorite things: Clean uncluttered graphics, lots of puzzles, doesnt force you into portrait mode, hints, and tap to rotate. Itd be nice to have the ability to chose your next puzzle, rank your puzzle completion time, and adjust the puzzle piece tolerance, but hey, thats what updates are for :-)

I love tangrams and this version is awesome!

This is a great app but the puzzles are rather easy. Also they have the same number of each piece for every puzzle. I guess thats how its supposed to be but they could add their own spin on it and mix up the number of each piece for some puzzles

I have been waiting for a Tangrams app to come to the App Store and I just bought this one today and I am really happy with it. I have a few suggestions for how to make this great app even better (that I have already shared with the developer and he has generously agreed to consider them for future updates): (1) Some gameplay music would be very good (with an option to turn off if needed). I know that you could play your own music while playing the game but I still feel that some gameplay music would be fun. (2) It would be good to have some sound effects when rotating the pieces and when putting a piece in the right place (with an option to turn off if needed). (3) Right now, when trying to align a piece in the given shape, I feel that the auto-fit mechanic could be a bit better. (4) It would be very useful to have a dedicated way to get the hints without having to go to the main menu to do the same. Overall, a very good port of an excellent game !

As a game, this will really challenge you. It is worth every cent. A recomendation would be to add a nice background would make it a perfect one.

If you like puzzles, Tangrams is a must-have! Seriously, get it. Its a lot of fun and I think the price is fair. I reviewed this app on my site and couldnt find anything wrong with it which is very rare.

Im not really sure that this game actually has over 400 puzzles b/c Ive been seeing the same puzzles and its getting on my nerves Other than that this game is pretty good

Having played a couple of tangrams games, I really like this one. Its easy to use: Can be played with one thumb while riding the subway. The puzzles range from easy to challenging, and part of the fun is never knowing which shape will turn out to be a real stumper.

This app did NOTHING to help the poor reception on my iPhone and it doesnt play music or videos. The block puzzle thing is fun though and works very well.

TanZen is much more aesthetically pleasing. And you can admire your finished puzzle!

I tried the lite version. After completing two puzzles I immediately bought the full version. Pieces do get a little sticky at times.

This app works fine but doesnt track or keep up with your progress. It just gives you one puzzle after another.

Excellent interface layout and simple control design. The puzzle is the focus and not the graphics. Good Job!

The new snap feature (1.3 Oct 4th) puts this over the edge for playability. No longer are you sitting there carefully moving your finger ever so slightly to put a piece into place as before and with Tanzen (other tangram game). Instead it just quickly snaps where you want it to when it detects an edge. Really makes me want to start solving them and my son and daughter can take a crack at solving them too. I prefer this single tap to rotate a piece rather than rotating a circle as in the Tanzen. When you just do just a couple of puzzles I suppose it doesnt matter but after some time it really starts getting frustrating not to quickly be able to manipulate pieces quick and fast. 5 stars if it got a browsable gallery of shapes. Note: this does not have a flip the pieces like Tanzen does so its the easier for kids. Tanzen doesnt have hint like Tangrams does so you never want to chuck your iphone out the doctors office as a single tap of the hint button will relieve any built up frustration Tangrams might cause you.

I love this game so now I can play it anywhere. Thanks for the great job!
